Welcome to French at Fulbourn primary school. Our primary goal is to ensure all children develop a love for learning languages and acquire the necessary transferable skills to accompany them to secondary school. We believe that learning languages is crucial for future success in both their personal and professional lives. Through the learning of a new language, children become appreciative and aware of different cultures, as well as accelerating their wider cognitive development. From September 2023, we are following the online learning platform Kapow for French in KS2. We also have a specialist French teacher who teaches additional French to those interested, as well as an after school Spanish club for children in both key stages.
