So much to celebrate!

We have sent home with the children this afternoon their Learning Journeys and school reports.  We hope you enjoy sharing the pieces of work that the children best believe celebrate their successes this year as well as reading about their progress in the reports their teachers have written.  If you have any questions at all about your child’s report please contact your child’s class teacher who will be happy to arrange a convenient time to talk. 

We know that parents live in different households and would each like to share in their child’s success.  If you would like a separate copy of your child’s report emailed to a parent that lives in a different household, please contact the school office who will be happy to help. 

Reading Books

As next week is our final week of the academic year, please spend some time over the weekend looking for any stray reading books that may have been left at home accidentally. Any found books can be returned directly to the class teacher.  Please don’t worry if you have accidently ended up with a few extra reading or library books at home – we will just be very grateful to have them all back in school for other children to enjoy in school next year!

Extreme temperatures

We are closely following local and national guidance about keeping staff and children safe in the extreme heat next week.  At this stage the advice is to stay open to all children next week, making careful adaptations to keep everyone as safe as possible.  Please make sure your child has a water bottle in school, as well as a hat and sun cream.  The children will not be taking part in PE lessons on Monday or Tuesday but instead learning about healthy lifestyles with our sports coaches.

JS Sports

Important – KS1 and KS2 football after school clubs on Monday 18^th and Tuesday 19^th July have been cancelled due to the extremely hot weather that is forecast.

Summer Camps

JS Sports believe that every child should stay as active as possible during the summer break.  Summer camps introduce children to new and exciting activities, give them the opportunity to meet new friends and crease a fun-filled experience they will remember forever.  You can sign up now for a summer camp at Fulbourn Primary School from 25^th – 29^th July at jssports-education.co.uk
